2010 begins a new decade in my life! I reached my 40s in 2009 with a little anticipation and a little fear.... of feeling I've left a whole lot of things undone and I'm running out of time! Boy, was I in for a surprise! People have asked me how I liked being 40 this past year, I have loved every minute of it!!! It was nothing I expected and it has been amazing. I love that little bit of mellowness that has come with "getting older". Although I don't feel "old"! I feel a difference in me. I like this Mel! I find myself taking better care of myself, loving people more, pursuing a relationship with God, and just squeezing every bit of life out of every moment!!! I'm looking forward to the experiences that this year brings....the learning, the living...and mostly, lots of laughter with family and friends! I hope you come along on the journey.
